EAGLE DESIGNS® |
EAGLE DESIGNS offers a range of resin conversions and accessories for aircraft models, both in 1/72nd and in 1/48th scale, almost entirely dedicated to modern Israeli aircraft, a largely neglected but intriguing subject.
Israeli IPMS members have provided the first-rate documentation which has enabled us to produce these products.
We have based our work on pictures, drawings and articles which all have passed the Israeli censorship and have already been made available to the public (though almost unknown).
Our products have received good reviews in the Israeli IPMS magazine "Kne Mida" (issue 28), in French magazines "Replìc"(issue 84 and 86) and "Wing Masters" (issue 5) and in Scale Aviation Modeller International (Volume 5 Issue 2, February 1999 and Issue 3, March 1999).

Also Esci Mirage IIIC are useless, because of the
shorter fuselage.
We also suggest not to use Fujimi's and Academy's old
Mirages kits because close to 1/50.

ABOUT
SOME PRODUCTS OF OURS:
72/48-CK-01: contains all the pieces you need
to make a standard Israeli F-16C. This is the only kit around which provides
you with a complete ECM set.
72-CK-02: this mod changes an F-16C-30 into
a 'Big Mouth' Block 40 providing the enlarged wheels and bulged doors; useful
for Israeli and American aircrafts also. It fits well both Hasegawa and Italeri kits.
72-CK-03: this kit contains all the pieces
needed to make the Israeli F-16D-40 'Peace Marble II' with its distinctive
avionic spine and complete ECM set. Now, also Singapore has purchased this
version of the Viper Jet. Made for Hasegawa's kit, it's also useful to modify
recent Italeri's in 1/48 which is missing all Block
40 features and has a wrongly shaped spine.
72/48-CK-04/05: now you can build correct Israeli Skyhawks of any version. Good also for those who want to
build a MARINES A-4M.
48-CK-06/08: we are reissuing our F-4's burner
cans and exaust, for both early and late style
engines.
72/48-CK-07: the only RF-4E(S) 'Peace Jack'
nose conversion which is truly accurate both in shape and dimensions. It fits
most F-4 kits.
48-CK-10: if you want to build a late
profile nose Photo-Phantom this is what you need: exact shape nose mod and the
sole open RF-4's photoflash cartridges ejectors available on the market.
72-CK-11/48-CK-18: this is the first available mod to
change a Mirage III into a South African eye-catching biplace
Cheetah-D.
48-CK-11 trough 17: Heller has recently re-released its
Mirage IIIB/C. With our sets it can be nicely built as a Kfir,
a Nesher or a Cheetah. You can see how our parts fit Heller's
kit HERE.
48-CK-21: parts to update Israeli F-4Es to
the "Kurnass 2000" standard. A perfect
subject for decal sheet from Cutting Edge.
48-CK-24: Build a 'different' Tomcat! Update
your F-14 into a 'Bombcat' loading 2 GBU-16s and Lantirn pod. No escort required!
48-AA-01/02: first available Python 3 and
Python 4 missiles. Molded on photos of actual
missile. Python III is credited with 35 kills in the 1982 Bekaa
Valley air battle (Rafael).
72/48-AG-01: first available Popeye AGM-142 air
to ground missiles. Used on Israeli F-4's, USAF B-52's and Australian F-111G's.
72-CK-04/05 and 48-WP-01/02: two kits
which provide the best available Lantirn pods along
with dedicated aircraft pylons for F-15 or F-16. Those in 1/72nd
scale are the only ones available in this scale.
